About the course: Offered, for the first time in the Asia-Pacific region, by the World Bank Institute in collaboration with the Asia Network for Capacity Building in Health Systems Strengthening, The Institute for Health Policy, Equitap Network, and the Department of Health and Development Agency of the Philippines.

This course is targeted to senior to mid-level policy-makers, managers and experts involved in health sectors in the Asia-Pacific region. It will draw on participants’ own country experiences through presentations and exercises. The course content is built around the WBI Flagship framework, and aims to help participants think about why equity in health is important, to identify methods and tools for assessing equity, and policy options to achieve more equitable, pro-poor outcomes.

Venue: Tagaytay city, Philippines, at the Development Academy of the Philippines conference facility.
