This Report is part of the multi-phase collaborative initiative between WHO and PHAC, to increase knowledge and application of effective intersectoral approaches (ISA). This initiative served to inform the report of the Commission on Social Determinants of Health, released on August 28, 2008.

This collaborative work in its coming phase will focus on implementation instruments (tools/models/mechanisms) that operationalize intersectoral action to improve health equity.

Ce rapport fait partie de l'initiative de collaboration en plusieurs phases de l'OMS et de l'ASPC dans le but d'accroître les connaissances relatives aux approches intersectorielles et leur application. Cette initiative a permis de documenter le rapport de la Commission des déterminants sociaux de la santé, publié le 28 août 2008..

 

Le rapport présente les principales leçons tirées de 18 études de cas commandées dans le cadre de l'initiative. Les études de cas initiales se trouvent sur le site Web suivant : http://www.who.int/social_determinants/country_action/intersectorial_action/en/index.html (en anglais seulement).

 

Nous tenons à vous aviser que le travail de collaboration dans le cadre de la prochaine phase portera sur les outils de mise en œuvre (outils, modèles, mécanismes) qui rendent l'action intersectorielle opérationnelle et qui permettent d'améliorer l'équité en santé.

Este reporte es parte de una colaboración realizada en diversas fases entre la OMS y la Agencia de Salud Pública de Canadá para incrementar el conocimiento y la aplicación de experiencias efectivas de trabajo intersectorial en salud. Esta iniciativa sirvió para informar el reporte final de la Comisión sobre Determinantes de la Salud presentado a la OMS el 28 de agosto del 2008..

 

El reporte sintetiza lecciones clave expuestas en 18 estudios de caso que fueron comisionados bajo esta iniciativa. Los estudios de caso originales (solo en inglés por el momento) están disponibles en:  http://www.who.int/social_determinants/country_action/intersectorial_action/en/index.html

 

La siguiente fase de esta iniciativa se enfocará en instrumentos de implementación (herramientas, modelos o mecanismos) que ponen en práctica el trabajo intersectorial para mejorar la equidad en salud.
